You recall wrong. I've never been banned from any forum, and I don't recall ever getting a warning or even a slap on the wrist here at all.
I've gotten under the skin of one moderator more than my fair share but had enough common sense to know when enough is enough.

Mulhullandose should have been taken out and shot. He threatened people, posted where they worked and sent messages to their bosses. The fact that he lasted as long as he did was disgraceful.

I miss Sniper and his pics. Fastpat rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but most of his statements about the Civil War were well researched. Remember, the victors write the history books.

Perhaps..but a person who is so different and interesting should have a bit more of a leeway in offering thoughts and expressions.

Mike - for one thing - I believe you joined up here in PPOT long after Red UFO was gone, so your experience with him goes back to when you weren't banned from Rennlist...

Red UFO was indeed interesting and entertaining -- and while he may have researched his interests well, he was lacking one thing: common sense smarts. He was warned repeatedly and temporary banned a couple of times before he finally got the ax.

There is a reason he was banned both here and Rennlist....and I suspect there have been other web boards that have asked him to not come back.

Not to sound legalistic, but if you violate the rules, you pay the price. Even if you are interesting and entertaining.
