Guitar players, favorite easy love songs?

I have a two prong attack here...

Want to get back to playing guitar...

Want to make some points with the wife (money is tight and she is eyeballing my guitars, in her defense I haven't touched them is a year ot two).

So how about some easy love songs? Emphasis on EASY!

Back in the day played mostly classic rock but I am not a music snob... I like new, old, rock, jazz, folk, country... a good song is a good song.

So what have ya got?

Once I learned three chords I could play every song written by Poison. But in all seriousness every love song by Poison is easy to learn. Brown eyed girl is another easy to learn song. If you are into playing by tabs then just pick up a few books and go from there. They are usually around $15 each.

I always prefered the classics by Whitesnake though like "slide it in" or "Spit it out", or if you are looking for a little more romance how about "smooth up in ya" by bullet boys.

I do think there are EZ chords for this, but you are correct.

I would encourage learning bar chords though, even for beginners.
