Looking for low cut speed skate boots-Men's 8 or women 9 or 40 metric

One of my daughter's liked my old speed skating regimen and is looking for a good set of boots.......anyone have a low use set from a child that has grown out of them?

I used Riedell and Oberhammer back when I competed......OB is toast but Riedell is still around. Bare boots are fine as I will build the rest.....or if you have already set up pair OK.....let me know.

Prefer black....no fufu colors as she is serious about this.

Coincidentally I believe I have a pair.......
They are the sneaker type shoe.....I believe ladies size 8.......
I'll snap some pics in a little bit and check the size....
Bought them for the wife a while back, only worn a few times so pretty much brand new lol

Thank you for the schooling....but the boot I used in the 70s WAS a speed skate that I converted to roller skates and they still make them. I just don't want to pay 400 bucks on a trainer boot for my daughter.....

I used them in rich MOFOs empty pools up in the Palos Verdes area and the LA River embankments.

That sounds cool! And I understand why you would do that! A good speed skate boot fits so snug that it feels like an extension of the human body!!! Please post a pic of what you end up with!!!
