In retrospect though.....I believe Shaun needs a tougher glove more suitable for metal fabrication. Those are some nice gloves, Vinny. I'm going to check those out as well for the times when I need a little more ooomph in my gloves. Thanks mate! SmileWavy |
Maybe have different gloves at different workstation tasks?
Could be a pain when switching frequently though. |
I like stihl gloves...

I don't use gloves. Attempted to a few times, but I just don't seem to be able to have the right "feel" for what I'm doing when wearing gloves.

For stuff like this, these gloves are borderline too light weight but offer much better handling of sawzalls and grinders than heavy gloves which I think is more of a safety premium.

Hobart's tig welders gloves...nice combination of soft and hard leathers.

I use the nitrile gloves for grinding and handling metal like that. I would only use welding gloves for welding, or at least 100% leather gloves. For me, I find that rubber palmed gloves are just that much more resistant to abrasion and wear.
I have at least three pairs of gloves in my truck right now, and four in the house. I was ripping a standing seam metal roof off of a house yesterday with nitrile palmed gloves. I came to hate those 7 plus dollar work gloves that don't last a week of real work. Your mileage may vary. |

Ohhh, yeah.
Thanks, Vinnie. Good call. This is a superior product. Probably won't get the elastic cuffs next time, but boy are these well made and highly detailed. Pick up a dime with 'em.

Glad you like them. The ones without the elastic are a little longer on the wrist
