BHTM HOB Sunset Strip 4/6
Anyone else going? Thanks Gogar for keeping the tickets at a respectable $26. Eff you Ticketsheister for tacking on an $11 "fee" per ticket (just frosts my shorts).

Interested in getting together before the show? I owe you a dinner.
Gogar, you available to join us for a little pre-game? Out of curiosity, does Ticketmaster stick you with a $11 "convenience fee" even if you purchase tix at the window days prior to the show?

Band.

I'm pretty sure if you buy at the box office you don't pay fees.
I'll look into that for you. I'll check on doing something before the show but I think I have this other thing I gotta do.

I tried calling the BO but was on hold for 5 minutes and hung up. Tickets are $29 on the day of show and info on website says processing fees will apply. It's just that 3 tix with fee will cost you more than 4 tix at face value. You would think the fee would be 10-15% not 40%.
Call or text if you want to meet for dinner. eight oh five, seven oh one, seven seven six six

Bad timing - will be up in SF at the Hiromi show. Wanted to try and connect this time around.

If I have time, I'll try to swing by HOB tomorrow to see what they charge for tix purchased in-person.
I'll see if I can scrounge up slodave for Sat evening, as well. There's no Tilted Kilt in Hollywood, but there's a, ahem, gentlemen's club just down the street.

Great band. Used to see em down on Broadway in Denver and Boulder Theatre in last 80s. Last was at Fox in Atlanta.

Missed being in town for the SJC performance by less than a week.

If it makes you feel any better Craig, purchasing tix from the box office in-person still adds on a $5 fee. So you're only getting "hosed" for $6/ticket by Ticketmaster.

Are you interested in getting together for dinner before the show? Maybe some place close by like Cafe Med or one of the other restaurants along Sunset Plaza? BHTM has a VIP get-to-meet-the-band thing at 7 or 7:30, so Gogar probably won't be able to join. Unless of course we have an even earlier dinner, send Jeremy off to his thing, and then have drinks at the nudie bar across the street from what used to be Dublin's until showtime.

Yeah, I'm up for dinner. I'll be at the Laker game tonight, I'll PM you in the A.M. and we can figure out particulars.
