I need some advice from the Mopar guys!
Hey guys,
I thought it is about time to unload a couple of bumpers for a 68 Roadrunner. They are in decent shape with a few small dings and ripples. I was thinking about taking some polish to clean them up, as there are some tiny rust specs all over. Does anyone know a ballpark value of these things? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1365711470.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1365711596.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1365711731.jpg |
Ahhhhhhhhhhh. thanks for the memories.
My first car was a 68 GTX with a 440 super commando. stock 375hp then 70 roadrunner 383 done up 68 superbee, 383 done up 70 superbee 440 done up 71 cuda 340 done up 71 cuda 340 done up 67 GTX 426Hemi, No need to do anything. Can't help you on price. You could phone Mopac racing enterprises in langley BC. They have been in the mopar world since the 70s |
call Mark at Worby's (grave yardcarz) Seems like he know his stuff

Throw in that carpeting for some extra nostalgia ;)

that nostalgia is packing material.

Haha
That carpet is from a friends mother's house. Pure 70's stuff. Thanks for the input so far. I took some polish to a small spot...it cleaned up like brand new :). I think with some elbow grease these puppies will shine. I'll try getting some info from the sources suggested. Keep the thoughts/ suggestions comin' :) |
I'd clean 'em up real good with some mild polish and a buffer, take some good pics and put 'em on eBay and/or a big Mopar forum. I'm sure they're worth a small fortune to someone restoring one of those cars that is missing its bumpers.
