VW Suspension Squeek

Hello Everyone.

My son has a 2002 VW Golf and the suspension squeeks. I've tried spraying some WD40 and have also tried silicone lubricant, but the squeeks comes right back.

Anybody have any suggestions to make this squeek go away?

Thanks in advance.
L

Dried up ball joints, or tie rod ends?? none of the factory parts are greasable. Try poking a hole in the dust boots, and shooting some lubricant in there, and see if that shuts it up. If it does, probably means that they have been dry for some time, and replacement will be needed soon. You can also fill the boots with grease if you have a needle to fit on a grease gun.

Replace the bushing that gets quieter when sprayed with oil.
