"The Americans" on FX, anyone else watching?
 

Interesting show, certainly a different concept (KGB agents living in deep cover in D.C. during the 1980's) and well done with a very good cast. Of course the first question that comes up after watching it is how real is it? This article answers some of those questions:

Yes, watched them all. I grew up in those years - and to think that something like that could have happened was pretty cool.

All the episodes are great - hoping for season 2.

So far, so good. I have been pleasantly surprised by the show.

Absolutely it rocks. For a boy from small town north TX it was a real eye-opener to say the least. Hope to get back again someday and again pig-out on those wonderful Italian sausage and peppers in Little Italy ...


AND.... "The Americans" has been renewed for a season 2.

Keri Russell is pretty hot, probably to skinny for most of you guys but omg Annet Mahendru as Nina is smoking and does not mind showing it every week.

I tried to watch the first episode (had a plug for Tastee Freez), but it was just too dirty for my wife and I.

I watched the first 5 and I have the rest on DVR. I need to catch up one of these days...

Phillip the main dude gives it to his new wife and she seems to desire doggy. That marriage could go south pretty quick I'm guessing.

FYI: tonight's episode is the season finale.....

Nice show, but lot of discrepancies, such as KGB Epaulets were backwards on the shoulders of the (back then Colonel) General Zhukov while she was remembering her conversation with General about "Malish" dog...

Jeez, the epaulets were wrong - well, I'm going to stop watching then. That kind of flagrant disregard for details completely inconsequential to the storyline have lost them this viewer.
