Baby Quake in Cali
We just had a baby quake in El Segundo, CA. It was a 3.pointer in Marina Del Rey.

I've lived in the bay area now for 6 months after moving from Hermosa Beach. I have to say, I felt far more quakes in HB than I have up here. There were 2.0's out in the fault between the south bay and Catalina every few weeks that I would feel. Was woken up a few times by 2.5-3's.
Maybe my feeling them more often was a result of my condo in HB being built on some really transmissive ground, and being made from a lot on concrete, a very low-frequency structure itself. It was a 'stilt' condo on top of an open carport. Whole place would feel like it moved a few inches every small quake we had- I always thought the LA area, specifically the south bay, was overdue for a big one- a 5.5 would have destroyed my condo I think.
