Bridgeton groundhog that terrorized Little League escapes from cage, missing | NJ.com
The vicious animal that terrorized Bridgeton Little League Saturday with its teeth exposed before being caged by police apparently escaped from its cage at Wilwynn Animal Hospital sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning. Dr. Bill McAloanan, who runs the Hopewell Township clinic, said when he showed up Sunday morning to take care of the animal, the cage left by the Bridgeton Police Department was empty, but secured. “Inside was an empty can of cat food,’’ said McAlonan, but no animal. As of Monday afternoon, the groundhog was still missing. It all started with kids seeing the groundhog across from the Bridgeton Little League field. It chased the kids, an umpire and the league president before police finally caged it and took it the veterinary hospital. |

The least of Bridgetown's problems is a vicious ground hog. Even a vicious rabid ground hog. Classic example of a quaint small city becoming a dump. Move in more vicious ground hogs move out the residents.

Why in my day when a teeth knashing ground hog approached us on the ball field who ever was up would smash its head in with a 36 Louisville Slugger...
Kids, coaches, even umps are missing their nuts I tell you what! (In China they would eat it!)
