The power of the Pelican!
My son is a freshman on his high school golf team, he was paired this year with a senior, Ryan O'Connor.
They're having a vote on our local paper for MVP. If you don't mind, log on and vote for Ryan. You don't have to register or anything, just click and vote. Boys golf: Fan MVP vote - OC Varsity : OC Varsity He's a great player (he'll be playing at UCI next year), the HS team won their League for the first time in 12 years, and Ryan has been the leader, giving other kids rides to the tournaments, etc. So the vote is well deserved. On a personal level, he's been paired with my son all year, and even though that is a senior/freshman pairing, Ryan has been an excellent mentor and teammate, and a real gentleman. |
