What used car are you waiting for?

I've got my mind set on a 03 996 Turbo, any color but black or silver. There just a bit to pricey right now to swing it and stay married with out having to move out to the garage full time. But its close. What car are you waiting for be it price, availability, whatever.

Trade the 88 turbo cab in on a 997 turbo.

masraum 05-17-2013 07:19 PM

Hmm, I don't think I've ever waited for a car's price to come down so I could buy it

That said...

I guess I may go for a 993, or maybe a GT3 or an Elise

McLaren MP4-12C.

I think I'll probably be waiting....forever.

mikeesik 05-17-2013 07:27 PM

85 UR Quattro turbo coupe.
Lamborghini Jalpa.

Waiting for another early 5 series to turn up at work.... Had one here, good price, good condition (needed new speedo gears and a few other small fixes, but nothing major) - but I let it go because I had too many cars at home already and didn't wanna get divorced just yet...

Next time I see one, I'll probably grab it and flick one of the other cars...

I suspect you'll die waiting on the 993 to decrease. ;)

An early Cayman S would be nice but they don't seem to be going down in price too quickly and I'm emotionally incapable of spending airplane money on a 7 year old car with 80k miles.

One for sale right now in Runcorn, Queensland, Australia

Asking ~ AU $15,000.00

2011 CTS-V or a really low miles W211 E55, probably the Caddy, just because.

....and with that said, you can always cruise around and ask for the grey poupon.

I would love to find a 2010-11 Mercedes E550 4matic wagon or a Panamera 4 for less than $45k.

onewhippedpuppy 05-17-2013 07:48 PM

A CTS-V wagon with a manual gearbox at about $15k would be fine by me. In 10 years that might be a reality.

mikeesik 05-17-2013 07:50 PM

Whoops.
Like to find a RS 6 Audi Avant for a great price.

LakeCleElum 05-17-2013 08:29 PM

I know this guy with a '66 VW Bettle Convertible, 17,000 miles, never in the rain. Looks like it came off the showroom.....He's thinking letting it go for 15K in a few months.....

Already bought a big M/c and Snowmobile this year, but could still swing it.......We'll see.

Nostril Cheese 05-17-2013 10:52 PM
