Another Legal Question - Estates & Debts Owed to Them
Suppose someone owes your father money, a significant amount.
Your father passes away. You are the sole heir to his estate. Do you now get to continue the 'collection process'? Can you sue on behalf of your father?

***Not legal advise***
If you are appointed personal Representative/Executor of your father's estate, then you essentially stand in your father's shoes, so to speak, and can sue/collect on the estate's behalf.

Not only can you, but you have a fidiciary duty to collect that money.
