R.I.P. Trevor Bolder
One of my favorite jazz/rock bassists from back in the 70's...Uriah Heep/Spiders from MArs. So lyrical. Although I really liked ALL of the Heep albums, Salisbury stuck in my mind.

Godspeed, Mr. Bolder.
"Stealin'" is the UH song that got the big airplay in my hometown. Here's a live version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fqLh3OcwvyI#t=16 s |
Best era of Bowie, IMHO.

RIP Mr. Bolder. You and Mick made David the Star he is today as far as I'm concerned. You live on in your music.....

Ironically, the original bassist of the Heep was Gary Thain who died a "rock star's death" of a heroin overdose at the age of 27. Something bad about that number.
