I'm confused. Mermaids: The Body Found is, as a matter
of fact, not real. They tell you at the beginning and the end it's fiction.. Is the new one supposed to be non-fiction?

Maybe the guys in the UFO's found out the mermaids were not all that friendly and brought them back?

Sounds fishy to me.

I am NOT sure
they had some folks from other countries that were submarine operators like the ones with glass to see out. Working for oil companies......they were pretty convincing......I dont know what to think. I am going back to Tinkerbell.
They had Cameras on it it was pretty clear.but a HOAX is A Hoax too !
The strange part the thing on the beach in wa state had the same webbed hand as the thing in the net on said fishing boat .
The thing seen on camera in the sub had the same webbed hand too.........so its all collaborated over a good length of time , or?

Jferr006 05-28-2013 04:24 PM

I'm just trying to narrow down if we are talking about the same thing. The one 'documentary' was made to look real, they do a really convincing job of making you
think it's real... They then TELL you it's NOT real. I'm just trying to figure out if or why we are even discussing a know and intended fake documentary. I'm assuming
If its a sequel to the first,
It is also not real but, no one has clarified otherwise.

It does have something to do with the 1st VERY stupid one......so its probably more hoax and a wast of my time away from Tinkerbell

Jferr006 05-28-2013 04:27 PM

*Facepalm*

afterburn 549 05-28-2013 04:29 PM

unsure of that one

Jferr006 05-28-2013 04:30 PM

... All the cool kids are doing it.
Who cares, Mermaids don't have vaginas, totally pointless. End of thread :D

They are two separate programs but are both hoaxes. The "New Evidence" episode is the latest "follow-up," made by essentially the same person as the first one, Dr. Paul Robertson. Here is a statement about the latest episode:

"NOAA hasn’t released a statement to debunk the new documentary but Robertson admitted that the documentary was a bit of a hoax.

The biologist told the Mother Nature Network that the program is scientific fiction based on scientific theory.

Robertson said that he made Mermaids: The New Evidence appear like a documentary because he wanted it to be believable."

The original program was one of the highest rated programs on Animal Planet, ever. They are looking to keep the interest alive, and are planning even more "docu-hoaxes" in the future.

I think you are misdirecting us boys. By saying that don't have vaginas, I think you are conceding that they do exist, but they don't have vaginas.

Jferr006 05-29-2013 02:02 AM

Theoretically, of course. :) I guess what I'm saying is, way to think this fantasy through, guys. Where are all the girls pining for mermen to exist? We do 't, doesn't make sense.

afterburn 549 05-29-2013 05:14 AM

Girls do not have pine, They snap their fingers !. They have to walk out of the house cross legged, and stay that way all day !
We men just have to figure out who wants play.
So we pine when no one will play .
