Fund raising event for WWP
 

I am looking for support for our fund raising event and can't think of a better place to find support for our military and veterans. This year our event, the Grizzly Golf Classic, became an official supporter event for Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). Wounded Warrior Project exists to honor and empower Wounded Warriors who incurred wounds, injuries, or illnesses on or after September 11, 2001.

WWP programs serve warriors with every type of injury – from the physical to the invisible wounds of war. It is estimated over 48,000 servicemen and women have been physically injured in recent military conflicts, another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment and as many as 400,000 additional service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.

With the mission to honor and empower Wounded Warriors, WWP is the hand extended to encourage warriors as they adjust to their new normal and achieve new triumphs.

Proceeds from the Grizzly Golf Classic will be donated to WWP and our Wing Family Day Picnic.
