Is that an aviaid oil pump? Either way, how did you pick the one you have?

Its a Weaver Brothers pump, came with the engine, had it all rebuilt

Isn't that funny that for so many years NASCAR had to run a mechanical fuel pump. I understand that it was a safety feature once electric fuel pumps were proven. Nowdays, the FI stock cars use electric FP's in the back that will automatically shut off in the event of a roll over. Seems that they should have some sort of shut off in the event of a major shunt as well.

But, I digress.

When do you light the candles on that beast?

I am hoping Dyno Day will be Mon or Tues.

just the billet crank was 3500, racing is expensive always has been always will be, but cheaper than divorce, drugs, and hookers, not the cheap street whores, but the expensive victoria secret type:D
