Any Interest in Skeet Shooting at Oak Tree In Newhall, CA over the holidays?

Craigster and I have talked about it, now others have chimed in. Any interest in some skeet shooting at Oak Tree Gun Club in Newhall, CA over the holidays? I live about a mile or so from there and would be pleased to host a BBQ before or after (actually after, beer messes up my shooting, or is it shooting messes up my beer, I don't remember) . I used to shoot skeet a lot, and did pretty well, but its been a few years. If you don't have a shotgun, I'm sure we can fix you up. Post here or send me a PM, we'll figure out what works.

I am working this week but am off Monday Dec 31st. I could meet for beers afterward at your place Hugh. Unfortunately my shotguns are locked in a friends safe who is out of town for the holidays, so if I do participate I'd have to borrow or share. Let me know what works for you guys, I'm open.

I've got an extra 12 or 20 I can bring. Won't be hangin' w/ Vash on 1/1/13...so I can make the 31 no problem.

Man i love skeet shooting. My dad was a referee in the pan am games. Hes retired military right now and is/ was the treasurer for georgia sporting clays. I grew up shooting dads remington 3200. He shoots with a citori now. Mostly five stand and sporting clays. I remember going to vandalia every year for the international trap shoot. Those were some of the best memories i had

Jim< I can pick up some Win AA's, should I buy 12 or 20? I mostly shoot 20 but 12 is fine with me. Also I prefer Purdey or Holland and Holland if that matters..

Sorry...they're both Citori's...but the 12 ga was also my duck gun...so its a bit rusty trying to open. With the 20, you won't get laughed off the range.

I'd be there in a heartbeat, if I could, uh, be there in a heart beat.

Have fun, all. It's Bad Company, I can't deny.

Jim Bremner, that's a great looking gun!

I might try to make it, but I don't really have a gun for that.

I'd love to join in, depending on work that day. I've done trap but never skeet; I have an 870.
