Coil tap switch

I had one of those. Bought it new in South Florida. It's a stock Fender model feature. The sunburst is not on the back, right? It's all black. I loved mine. Great find. Enjoy!

Yep... black back. Seems like a nice guitar.

Thanks for all of the input. Any opinions on value? Despite needing cleaning up, it's really nice. Few belt buckle scratches on the back, but no real flaws. Does the split hurt or help?

AFAIK no collectible value for 90s MIM Strats. It would probably sell for $200-$250 if it is a nice player. A good gigging axe for a few bucks.
