Just heard that I40 is shut down with multiple injuries from flipped vehicles. My prayers are with everyone for their safety.

jyl 05-31-2013 05:46 PM

Which Pelicans are there?

porsche4life 05-31-2013 05:49 PM

Quite a few in the general area. Afaik none in the affected area, at least their houses.

It went south of us again. It looks like Moore got hammered again. Several confirmed deaths of people in cars. Very heavy rains and some flooding. We are fine, never even lost power in our part of town.

It is not a good night to be out driving.

Wow ! I dont know how you folks in Oklahoma manage to live there. Good luck to everyone back there and I hope you all come out safe.
I was born and raised in the Chicago area. I couldnt take the winter weather and had to get out. Moved to S. California a long time ago.
I know...I am a wimp . I admit it.

GH85Carrera 05-31-2013 07:21 PM

71,000 without power.

weseeeee 05-31-2013 07:22 PM

They have been getting slammed this year. I hope everyone is taking cover.

We don't worry about earthquakes or or mud slides and for sure tsunamis!

House a few doors down got a storm shelter today. I was worried they were going to have to use it before the concrete was dry.

cstreit 05-31-2013 07:56 PM

Hang onto your hats guys. I hope you are going to be alright.

speeder 05-31-2013 09:59 PM

This is the worst tornado season down there that I can remember. And technically, tornado season is all summer, right?

There sure seems to be a lot more extreme weather events lately, and getting worse by the year. Yikes...
