Want to see some great classics for a good cause? Come on down to the 3rd Annual Avon High School Automotive Club car show on Friday, June 7 from 5-8 pm. All proceeds from food and drink sales will go to funding the AHS Car Club's efforts to restore a Datsun Z-car in hopes of running it at the 24 Hours of Lemons.

There will be live music, food and beverages from local vendors, and all sorts of great rides -- classics, antiques, sports cars, exotics, muscle cars, off-roaders, and motorcycles (including a handful of Porsches and Ferraris, of course) -- all vehicles of interest are welcome!

Where: Avon High School back lot, 510 West Avon Road, Avon, CT
When: Friday June 7, 5-8 PM (rain date: 6/8).

The Car Show is postponed due to weather, with the probable rescheduled date either the 21st or 22nd. I'll let everyone know for sure as it develops.

Okay, we're back on. The car show will take place on Friday, July 5 at 5PM at the location listed above. It should be a great event -- hopefully I'll see some of you there!

Keep us posted.....or bump the thread next week. I may be able to get up there and bring one of the cars.

Anyhow, just wanted to remind everyone that the 3rd annual AHS Auto Club's Car Show will be held this Friday, July 5, at Avon High School, from 5-8pm. There will be food and beverages, music, and lots of great machinery to admire. I hope to see everyone there, and be sure to tell anyone who might be interested! We're hoping for a big crowd.

Yes, of course. All "vehicles of interest" can simply roll in and park as part of the show. No advanced registration needed. It's more of a "cruise night" type of setup.

Very cool. I have a friend with a 1963 300M that is going to join me. Now that is an awesome car.
Look for a black Chrysler with a Carrera that could fit in the trunk!!
