Denis, I am "this" close to commissioning you to buy that thing and delivering it to me. But sanity prevails, even a glass of wine or two into the evening.

When my oldest son (freshly minted high school graduate!) was a toddler we let him watch a lot of nature chanel and documentaries about wild animals, espcially big game in Africa. One say when he was about five or six we were at an intersection when he got all excited and started pointing at the vehicle in front of us. He was shouting "African people! Look Dad, African people!" Being a man of the 21st century, and young Alex being of what society currently calls "multicultural" I was naturally shocked and was wondering how I was going to use this as a learning moment on diversity and tolerance. And I was wondering what in a six year old's life triggered racial profiling.

But I looked at what he was pointing to and saw a perfectly preserved Land Rover Defender, complete with brush guards and light tan paint work out of a Marlin Perkins documentary.

Young Alex wasn't making a racial statement; he just had good taste in vehicles.

We watched all the episodes. My mom had a crush on Jim Fowler. My parents had a deal, my mom could have an fling with Jim Fowler, and my dad could have fling with Mitzy Gynor. I am pretty sure they never got the opportunity.
