Concours Pics - P Car Content
Had the opportunity to volunteer at the Ault Park Concours today here in Cincinnati. Porsche was the featured marque and I was able to request the Racing class. What a way to spend an early Sunday morning as I had the 6:30-10 shift before the public entered
 It was great to talk with the owners and hear all the competition history of each car. There were 11 cars in my class and as if those weren't enough, there were another 200+ cars in all the other classes ! Here are the cars that were in my class ... 1955 550 Spyder:   1955 356 Super Speedster:

Here are some tail shots ...
  The show really had some diversity, ranging from a Vector to an AMX dragster to a McLaren MP4-12C to a Locomobile to a Bond car to Auburns to Rolls to Aston Martins to Ferraris to Jaguars etc. Almost forgot, there was also a class for historically significant racing 'Vettes. Quite a show of American muscle. If you are local put it on your calendar for next year because it is sure to be another great show !

Fun fact - this hood hold-down is part of a ski binding from the '60's. (GEZE cable bindings). A friend of mine was restoring one of these 906's and when he told me how much he had to pay for a pair of these off ebay, I was shocked, SHOCKED!
