Not impressed.

Status cars...and shoes don't do it for me.

With the money/knowledge he has and his "pride and joy" is a purple Hemi Cuda???

He should hang out with Leno, and take diligent notes.

The best part of that video was how CJ was eyeballin' the dude as he was getting into the Veyron. You talk about stink eye....

With the possible exception of a Ralph Lauren, most of the really wealthy car guys are quite tacky.

Well.......what's BJ make on a auctioned car? Big fees going in and 1,000% going out?

Surprised he didn't have a B1 Bomber parked in there as well.

I like the fact that he actually drives the Veyron. And that there's a shop, any real garage needs a shop.

A plum-crazy hemi-cuda convertible? Beyond rare. I believe he said there were 14 (and only one in this color combination). Makes the Veyron positively common in comparison.

That 'cuda is a show stopper. Plum-Crazy or Hemi-Orange for me - thank you very much!

Meh. Too much bling for me.

That's the best part about being stinking rich, you don't have to try to impress anyone else and can buy what you really like.

There was a 71 plum crazy challenger with white interior, convertible, hemi 4 speed in the Otis Chandler museum back in the late 80's.
I believe they said there were only 2 of them and that one had less than 10,000 original miles.

Loved that car.

This one was pretty nice too

As an AV/Automation guy - the cool factor in this video goes way beyond just the cars. Very nicely done system he's got there.

Yea yea I get it...a triple white vert (1-5) went for $5MM. Was on the cover of Hot Rod some time ago...

Right. But how many V-8s do you need in one garage?

I guess I'm just a curmudgeon lately with all 'Merican Muscle. 10 years ago the cars weren't turning any interest and now every nit-wit and their brother needs to go to an auction and overpay for a less than spectacular car.

My story would be different if I had a garage full of these once not-so-collectible cars and an auction wasn't on every time I turned on the TV.

Ain't envy a b!tch, though. ;)
.
And speaking of tacky, the tacky thing about that video is the interviewer's interview style...and his needing a haircut. IMO, of course.
.
I'd like to have the man's money...not necessarily his car selection, but his money.

That's what's cool about cars, there's something for everyone's taste.

My dream is a fly yellow 427 cobra kit car with white stripes, a built small block with a 6-71 weezer sticking way way up out of the hood, electronic fuel injection and anti-lock brakes and traction control so I could drive it angry still under control. Almost.
