Sunglasses...question
Hey everyone!
I know I am stuck in the 80's...but does anyone know where to find glasses like these? I would like to keep the price somewhat reasonable. I cannot find any Ray Bans that are matte black in this style. I'm open to any quality brand. Where to Buy theses Sunglasses "No Man's Land" Many of the glasses I can find through a search look cheaply made. |
You're kidding? Sunglasses hut carries all the new wayfarers. I bet they have 30 different configs at my local store in my mall. Didn't see matte black tho. I like them but my head is too huge:)

A couple of computers ago I had a bookmark for someplace that sold vintage sunglasses. In fact, I think I found it along with others. Giggle that.

Typing in Ray Ban Style matte finish sunglasses in google turned up a place called etsy.com that has a used vintage pair similar to the ones Charlie Sheen wore in "no mans land." Style was listed as Club Master. Cost was around $130.

Those are Ray-Ban Clubmasters. A quick internet search on "matte black clubmasters" will turn up tons of places to buy them. -J

Mystic Pizza (pic from the movie?)
Wore them all thru 80's+ until they were sold to some Italian company....quality seemed to suffer |
Just bought my oldest's daughters boyfriend a pair of matte black, folding wayfarers. They are out there.

Von Zipper Fultons (or Elmore's if you have a big head like me) are a great, updates version of the classic wayfarer look. I have mine in matte black. Love them, wear them everyday.

a little steel wool will make everything matte black:) |

My daughter just bought a pair of Wayfarer's and we were talking about this same subject. I had Clubmans in high school that I use to wear. One thing I will mention is that they are more for the look then sunblocking. There is so much light that gets around them, you can understand why most go for the Oakleys and newer designs.

Thanks for the input, all!
