Anybody knowledgeable on Spread Trusts? My Mom is getting asked to invest in a couple. Thanks

who is asking your mom to do this?

AFIK, they borrow money at short-term rates and then lend it out

sounds like some risk of a disaster for an individual investor

Does sound like a problem. I will know more tomorrow. Wouldn't take many bad loans to mess up the complete package. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is. Thanks
