CSF tap results should be done by now so Doc will likely call tomorrow. Lower C spine MRI was not done with contrast and I'm thinking it should be. These past few days I'm getting elec shock sensation when I just extend my fingers on right hand...this is new.
I've been thinking Lyme Disease as well. I certainly have had exposure to the deer tick nymphs which carry the disease. |
Thank you for the update. Keep us posted.

GD dude, that ain't good at all. I know the surgeons more than the neurologists, will make some inquiries about who the guy/gal to see is. Been kiinda in the weeds with trying to catch up on my stuff, sorry about the vanishing for a couple weeks or whatever it was.

you have a PM, days later
I suck, sorry I'll ask my daughter too, but she is totally going to be distracted today and tomorrow at least. Her water broke last night. |
Mark, sounds a lot like peripheral neuropathy...Fairly complicated to diagnose..Would be great if you could get to U C Davis. Good luck, Tim

Heck, thanks to all you guys. I'm still waiting for some tests to come in on CSF. I'll be trying to reach one of the Doc's that Toby mentioned in a PM. I still think the major problem is in my C spine but dunno about the crap they found in the brain stem.. Could easily be two separate things..
For some reason, thankfully, I'm not all that freaked out or scared about all this...that's a good thing as I see it. It is what it is and I'll deal with it best I can...still may be no big deal long term... This small town has a few Docs and they do the best they can..which may be great.. but I'll feel better about an opinion from some high power University type in Sac. They may all agree...who knows... |
