Me & USPS versus PayPal/eBay

I made a sale....sent the item via an eBay/PayPal/USPS interfaced generated invoice and shipping document.

The shipping document, which admittedly I did not eyeball, prior to shipping was incorrect. Had the client's name but the shipping address was PayPal/eBay in San Jose CA. MY FAULT.

The client, who has been terrific BTW, brought the wrong address to my attention. Calls to EB and PP were answered by call centers all over the world.

They basically told me to pound sand. I had a tracking number and online confirmation that it was delivered.

So I asked the unsung heroes at USPS for help....

Three days later I got a call from the USPS supervisor in SJ. He went out there and asked the mailroom...."Where is the freaking package?" they gave it up. Been sitting there 6 weeks.

A professional organization would have returned an incorrectly addressed package to the sender....these hacks sat on it.

YOU as an eBay/PayPal user...you fart and they freeze your assets in any transaction.

Next time there is a buyer seller dispute.....feel free to bring this up.

Wankers......

Good on the Post Office.....I was about to go up there and go Postal.....stuff like this irks my soul.....if I had one.

The Devil invented eBay to see how easy it was to bring people over to his side. Now he has digital proof of how many people are going to Hell.

He won.

how does ebay keep getting away with this. Why has there not been a remake of the old ebay format auction site?

I'll never sell on eBay again.....screw them. PayPal is a necessary evil.

I keep seperate accounts in case there is a problem.

I spent HOURS on the phone, way more than it was worth. It was the principle of the thing. There is a special place in Hell for these guys.

I wish there was an alternative to Ebay but no other site gets as much traffic. I'm going through this as a seller, buyer paid through PayPal and I shipped USPS Priority to their address. When I tracked the package, I noticed it sat in the Ft Meyers Fl. post office for 3 days before being forwarded and delivered in another zip code.

I get a message from Ebay saying the buyer never received the package and Ebay removed the $110 from my PayPal account. I appealed while I got in touch with USPS, they informed me the buyer had changed addresses a month prior to me shipping and it was delivered to the new address so no insurance claim.

Whenever I purchase something through Paypal I have to confirm my shipping address, why the dweeb buyer didn't change their address at this time is beyond me, I'm still fighting with Ebay to recover my $$. Told them I would never sell on Ebay again and they jumped back into action, we'll see how it goes.
