Anyone heard from Tobra?
 

A week ago Tobra sent me some fresh peaches from his trees. Sent him a thank you PM and didn't hear back. PM'd him again, nothing. He hasn't posted in 2 weeks.

Anyone in touch with him? Can get in touch with him? Is he OK? I hope he's on a beach somewhere.

There's a lot of stalwarts gone missing as of late. Targa, Dottore, Art, Tobra.

Something is amiss.

He over at the Miata forum. I only go to their watercooler, like our off topic section, and that's where I see his post.

But have you seen him post recently?

Maybe a couple of weeks ago, but not sure?

Last post over there was June 18.

I sent him a PM last week but never heard back. It was a medical issue so I was surprised that he didn't reply..

Just texted him. I'll let the Board know if I get a response.

Just texted me back, he's fine, but very busy, and he sends hugs and kisses and appreciates the concern.

maybe he's concentrating on developing some real relationships with real people in real life. IDIOT!!!!

Eeew. That's like, like really revolting.

I have great friends all over the world, many times just by selling them 911 parts. We have good conversations via email and skype and banter on FB now and again. I find it enriches my life dramatically and is never at the expense of my local friendships. I suspect you feel the same way.

I feel that way, Shaun! I love all the friends I have made virtually. And is nice to see the Pelicans always watching out for each other. :)

That's a great post and good way of looking at things. Having said that, I think Tobra hates my guts for some reason.

I wouldn't say that, I don't think he's got a mean bone in him, he's a darn good man, but I suppose he can be a tad ornery now and again. :)

I've had lunch and dinner with Toby, he's a lot younger than you would expect, quite funny and very pleasant.

I dunno, I've found most are pretty cracked up...
