What truck is this?

Saw it outside one of our better autobody shops in town today.

Any idea on year and model?

Thanks VInny, it looked fantastic in person. Always wanted a convertible Scout.

Chebby....a rare one that isn't on the rust pile or modded to a monster mudder.

They diluted the model with the V6 "Blazers".....these were torque monsters in the day.

Certainly a handsome looking truck. Probably one of the staff did it up.

I believe it is a 72 or earlier. I had a 73. The door line changed to being flush with the body in 73 I recollect.

An absolute favorite truck.

They also made those Blazers as a 2wd. Quite a few of the 2wd's were strippies (6 cylinder, no air, etc) but this project of ours is a factory 2wd, with air, V8, and auto. Not that anything is stock anymore - LOL!

It's still in "project" status, but is now complete enough that it drives. I don't have any decent pictures of it more together - but you get the idea. 2wd lowered is the BOMB baby!!
