Garage
Mark do yourself a favor and take down the post.
There's likely to be single digit compliance anyway.

Assuming it's firearm related, it is a good thing you edited your post. Our utterly useless governor, Danny Malloy, would be knocking down your door with his Stamford cronies to arrest you.

Yeah it is. The new law states when you 'apply' to keep your high capacity magazines you need to, and this is right off the form...

Submit proof that you purchased this magazine on or prior to April 4, 2013 to include one of the following: a sales receipt, or sworn affidavit that the specified magazine(s) was purchased in compliance with state laws.

Well who the hell has a $20.00 receipt from 15 years ago when you bought an extra mag at a gun show? I had a softball game yesterday & one of the guys on the team is a local cop. I asked him about it and he just looked disgusted and said he knows nothing. The state has not said a thing to them yet.

Buckterrier,
Similar BS in NYS, they said you could only have a clip (magazine) that held no more than 7 rounds. I guess no one makes that so now you are on your honor to only put seven rounds in the clip and I think you can still have one chambered.

I asked the local sheriff as well as a state rep and they both agreed and just sort of shook their heads. They really don't want anything to do with it either.

Can't you just get a sworn affidavit that you bought them many moons ago, you know, back when the Indians owned CT.

Yeah I know you guys are taking it without a kiss also GRRRR. Who is going to give me a sworn affidavit? Who will the state accept one from? I might be a prick and ask the state police all these questions, (they won't know squat).

So, the next time some whack-job loses it, steals his mom's gun, and kills a bunch of kids, they'll arrest him on grounds that he had one-too-many cartridges in his magazine?

Bollocks.
