Great film, what adventures. Would anyone try that today? Today's cars are incredibly reliable but just one of the multitude of sensors failing could strand you.

@KNS - agreed about the high tech sensors et al. stranding you, but also the geo-political realities of today vs. 1960 would give me pause...
