I was one of the few people who liked "Luck" and was sad to see it end so soon. He played a somewhat dumb witted guy but when the $%!* hit the fan, he was the guy you stood behind.

He was good in everything I ever saw him in - he brought a powerful intensity to his roles. I always wondered if he wasn't so much acting as just going through life on camera. Typecast? Sure, but the movies he selected fit his style perfectly.
