John, that's a game camera. They start at $40 and go up from there. They all not save to an SD card. Neat stuff. I have left them in the woods for weeks at a time and it is really neat to see what came by.

I think that's a grounds squirrel. Not a tree squirrel. They can carry the bubonic plague. I would not ridicule someone wearing protection handling them, especially if it is a professional exterminator that may handle these daily, where the risk adds up over time ...

edit: I see he has no gloves. Well, that's silly then.

Get a large container of ground red pepper powder. Costco or similar restaurant sized container. Sprinkle liberly on and around the deck. Repeat as needed. Works!
