Preserving the original window sticker
I received the original window sticker with the 986 Boxster I just purchased. Always wanted a Porsche with the dealer sticker, so I'm going to take it down to the local FedEx/Kinkos and have them make a color copy.
Should I: A) Laminate the original to keep it preserved (has been folded many times and the folds are getting thin) B) Laminate the color copy and stick the original away in a clear plastic page keeper C) Any other ideas? Just wondering what conventional wisdom says to do. |
I would say choice B

B. Keep it away from sunlight.

Alright, thanks for the input. Went with option B and decided not to subject the original to the lamination process. It's only original once. Results turned out good:

CA dealers are not allowed to let the original sticker leave the dealership that I know of. Where are you? (I love the "USA" bit. Why put down anything?)

You do what I do when I buy a new rig. I gather and keep everything.
Did you snag a Boxster brochure, too? |
