Turn on the Giants game.

No hitter for Timmy through 7 innings.

nostatic 07-13-2013 09:32 PM

well you just jinxed it...

jim72911t 07-13-2013 09:36 PM

shhhhhhh....

What's more remarkable is that they have scored more than 2 runs a game for the last 3 games. Go Giants!

ckissick 07-13-2013 09:51 PM

I'm giving a heads up. That doesn't count as a jinx.

ckissick 07-13-2013 10:04 PM

He did it! That was cool.

The Freak gets it done! Congrats to him, he's been on such a rollercoaster ride the last couple of years.

He'll be in the HOF for sure now. 2 time Cy Young,2 time WS champ and a no hitter

I'd rather loofa with a cheese grater than watch the Giants.....

Seahawk 07-14-2013 06:10 AM

I am a life-long Giants fan and that is funny.

Watched the highlights this morning...lots of pitches!

I grew up down the street from Dodger stadium.

One of my best friends grew up in LA as a Dodgers fan, but he lives up here in Giants territory now. We both agree that it wouldn't be right for either of us to do anything but hate the rival team. He married a huge Giants fan. We all like to tell each other how much we hate the other team, always with a smile on our face. If he said he sort of likes the Giants now, I'd be disappointed in him.

Well, congrats to Lincecum on the no-no....at least it wasn't against the Dahyers....

Congrats to Lincecum, a couple outstanding defensive plays to help him out. Today, just now, Verlander just gave up the first hit to the Rangers in the 7th, my son is bummed. No Hitters are indeed special.

I am NOT a Dodgers fan but, growing up in SoCal I went to a lot of games at Chavez.

The late 60's Dodger's had great players. If I was ever going to root for the Dodgers, it would have been after a game when our Little League coach took us to meet Wes Parker. Our whole team was there in our uni's, gloves, the whole nine.

Our coach had played with Wes in A Ball somewhere...not sure. We wait a few minutes after the game near players parking...Wes comes out.

He couldn't have been better: He drops is bag in his car (a Mustang I think) and then he spends about 45 minutes with us, playing catch, asking us questions and just being a Dude.

I almost went over the the Dark Side. I am, however, a huge Parker fan to this day.

Wes was also my fave back in the day....he had a lot of "demons" but was a hella nice guy.
