Mileage Issue
I own an 83 911 with 197,000 miles on her, but I always look at what's available for sale. What I see is most of the cars for sale have around 100K on then. How can that be?
Am I the only one that feels like most of these 911's have a lot more miles on them than the seller claims? |
Easy:
- Many 911's had 5 digit odometers. (All prior to '77, right?) - Many became garage queens that just didn't get driven. I'm guessing that mileage is "not stated accurately" for ~50% of used car transactions. |
Ah, an 83. 197,000 is just run in. Enjoy :)
