Hyundai Veloster? The Veloster gets around 25/38 mpg in turbo trim. Good waranty also...

We bought a Focus ST to replace a Honda Crosstour. We have driven it many miles and had only 1 issue. The screen that sits behind the steering wheel had to be replaced and that was under warranty. After having success with the Boss 302, we decided to continue with Ford and so far it has been a good experience.

The car is a blast to drive and never disappoints. Some people may find the seat colors too much. The bright yellow just makes me smile when I get in. Also, if you are a "big" person, the Recaro seats may not be right for your. Also, be prepared for torque steer. We find it fun; others may hate it.

It averages 32 MPG. I use 93 octane, but you can use 87 octane.

I suggest you give it a try. The passing speed is something you will remember after the test drive.;)

mutually exclusive, IMO. Is the regular cooper too small for cargo space? I'm of the mind to try not to cram too many features into one car, because it tends towards mediocrity across the board. If you need cargo space use the minivan/truck/SUV.

But compared to the others on your list, the Mini should be way more fun. I haven't driven the clubman, but I do miss our Cooper S. It was awesome.
