Best Driving Songs
was thinking of putting together a driving compilation for those times in the quieter car, I need to make some time. Have a couple of my favorites, which I post, but looking for the great obscure songs that may have slipped by me. You get idea, driving rock and roll, something to take you through the night.

Golden Earring. Just play the whole Moontan album late at night on a deserted highway.
Then, The Doors. Early stuff is best. Highway Song by Deep Purple. I could go on and on. (Ian, think I have that same CD set, I thought you gave it to me!)

No, it wasn't me. Someone on the Tech side did it.

I'm jealous of you guys who actually have stereos in your cars. I just listen to my exhaust note because the kenwood tape deck doesn't work

Pete, thanks for the Feat. Saw Lowell George's last concert. "like a smooth stretch of highway". You got it.
Scottmandue, oh man you missed the idea. Gotta rock, gotta be smooth, gotta have something to do with cars.

This is for the other car. In my case a VW Touareg Diesel. Torque, smooth, quiet, good stereo. The note from my $100 muffler on the clone is all I need in the P car

Ventura Highway
I have a stereo but it sucks. I usually just have it on the local Hard rock station for background music. Whenever reasonable I have the windows down so I can hear the engine and exhaust.
