Shouldn't this be wrapped?
Does this look suspect?
I had a local HVAC company come out and address the sweating ducts under my house. (I'll skip the back story. It's mundane and boring.) They sealed the ducts with mastic, and wrapped them back up, but I'm thinking the forgot a section. Thoughts? ![]()

Turn the A/C up and crawl under there.
If you feel cold air coming out of that "gap" ...yes, you have an incomplete seal. But you already knew that. ![]() Let us know how long it takes 'em to come out and fix it.

My husband is a journeyman electrician. When we have bought houses that need re-wiring, the under-the-house and in-the-attic duties go to me (the grunt work). If I had ever run the wiring like that, he would have disowned me.
