Any cabinet makers in the house? Looking for informal estimate
I have a useless built in desk in my kitchen that we only use to store crap. Looking at the area and knowing food storage in my existing cabinets sucks, I'd like to have a pantry built.
Here is the area I'm looking at: ![]() I would like the pantry to be from the floor to the top of existing cabinets, matching the existing cabinets as close as possible. I will be filling in the window as it serves no purpose now. Nothing fancy, just more space to store some food! Any professionals out there like to give me a ballpark estimate so I know if quotes are in the area of reasonable? Obviously not going to hold anyone to their number but I'd like to know what I'm getting into here.

How wide is that space? It's very easy to exactly match those cabinets. You looking at 12-1800 bucks installed, depending what's going on in there like roll-outs or deep drawers. Who's going to deal with the tile? The V-caps should that meets the new cabinet should be taken out and have 6x6 tiles (it looks like?) run all the way into the new pantry along with the back splash for a finish look. When they are done, it should look like it was built at the same time as the rest of the cabinets.

I saved it, opened it with Picture Viewer (?), rotated it and saved again. Then downloaded the pic to a new post.
