A group of former health officials, including two cabinet secretaries from the Carter and Bush Senior administrations, denounced the FDA's inaction.

"The failure of this administration to act undermines the public health and is particularly harmful to vulnerable young Americans and African-Americans," they said in a joint statement.

FDA inaction? And this is news why???

So it is a better poison than a regular cigarette?

No one thinks they are good for you. It is like saying one brand of meth is more deadly than another.

If they ban them the Mexicans and Colombians will set up manufacture of them and make billions selling them just like dope.

Most government regulatory agencies are in bed with the industries they supposedly regulate. The number of people moving back and forth between regulators and regulatees is amazing and disappointing. 'Slow to act' is SOP.

Cigarettes are bad for you and black guys tend to smoke menthol.
