Interesting time at UPS shipping to a FFL
Yesterday I shopped 5 boxes, including two 45-70 Sharps, 400 rounds, primers, cast bullets, shooting tools and reloading dies to a fellow in Tennessee (the patron saint state of shooting things). The young lady that helped me was great but made a small mistake when she did not verify the two cases with the rifles in them were going to a FFL. They were and a copy of the FFL was in an envelope on each box. She also was not sure what the ORM-D label meant so I showed her. I mentioned that the old lady that helped me last time was po's that I had put the FFL paperwork inside before she read it and she said "oh the grumpy old b***** has retired finally!" Made me laugh as she seemed to not have been well liked. It was funny to watch people's expressions when she processed the two rifle cases and asked what was in the boxes and I said guns...... and of course everybody tries to see what the heck they were!
Well anyways the BPCR shooting is over and now it is just muzzle loaders and so far I am working up loads for a Pedersoli Gibbs as I want to see if I can actually hit anything 1000 yards away with a tang sight?! |
