It could be a midlife crisis. An innate desire to be doctor of something? Perhaps he has a doctorate in lubrication....

So the idear is to be a consultant to companies to solve their lubrication problems? Instead of being a represenative of whatever company it was that you were working for. I did meet you Boss and did not think much of him....just another drone in the hive, with NO fkin imagination nor personality.

I think he said he was not going to focus on the lubrication business any longer but instead write, consult and speak on the subjects of his books. Possibly Mike will do the same on new topics as well. No better way to gather information for a new book than to jump right in.

And his books are on what subject again????

Esoteric, for sure. Something like prediction of component wear and failure and preventative measures. Not much to do with our mundane sch!t. But you know, if some shaft costs a half a mil and runs continuously, someone somewhere is reading his stuff.

And then he wrote a book of definitions, I believe. It most likely sounds like Grey's Anatomy to us lay persons.

But, some guy named Peter wrote about the level at which one reaches incompetency and got a lot of mileage out of it. ;):D
