Wd!!
Saturday I took my 1947 Dodge WD-15 out on the road for the first time. It's been seven long years since I started taking it apart. There is still work to do, but I can at least drive it on a daily basis now. Looking back, it seems like decades, not seven years.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1375707435.jpg The year I bought the truck - 1985. Successful Farming magazine came out to did a story on it. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1375707535.jpg 2004, still a work truck. About this time Lindsey Crawford came out and made a couple of videos of my truck (sorry, there are ads). Nice.
That will get comments every place you stop. Don't expect to just pop down and back to the store. You will draw a crowd everywhere you park. |

I just found these. McGee Street Productions leased the truck for a couple of months in the fall of 2002 to make the movie A Painted House. Here are some shots of WD "in costume." Thanks for all the nice comments.

how much wd-40 was used on the wd-15? |
Sweet. I am also amazed at how long the old Gal stayed in trusty service. You will never get that from a new one.

Too purdy for a truck, now it's a sweet, sweet ride!
