Department of justice virus

anyone get this one yet? Locks up your computer and an official notice comes up from the department of justice claiming you were using your computer for elicit purposes and must pay a 300 dollar fine.

How do they get away with this...collecting the money must leave a trail.....anyway would seem to be pretty lucrative

infect a 100000 computer say .5% are morons... thats 5000 people sending you 300 bucks .........1.5 million in US. Does crime pay?

Typically, you'd get a virus like this packed in with something illegal - so the gullible wouldn't say anything.

An acquaintance of mine runs a little computer repair shop mostly as a hobby. He has a steady stream of people they bring him a computer with multiple viruses. It keeps him in mad money for toys.

Almost all of the customers had a system that did not run Windows update and and did not update the anti-virus program. Just stupid people.

I wouldn't blame the originating source.
Any person/company can create public libelous economic damage these days.
It's by design from the central banking system.

Don't worry, it's probably a singualr incident.
The NSA is here to protect you from economic terrorists.
If they aren't allowed to do their job, an expansion of powers and funding is probably being petitioned as we speak.

You know, thinking about this. If we applied the NSA to identity theft, maybe we could shutdown that industry...

(It was parfy as I typed it.)

"No duty to protect" except neutralize terrorist music swappers in the form of housewives and 10yo kids.

Noble protection.
I feel safe again after my balls and crack have been massaged getting on the plane.

It is a scam, not from the DOJ.

Looks like its even hitting the MAC's.

I wonder how soon before Andriod and iOS users will be vulnerable?

If I pay this release fee at K-mart can I use layaway or must it all be paid at once. May have to go Western Sky and get a short term loan...;)
