If you take the 911, and you're driving at interstate speeds in 95 degree weather (and 90+ percent humidity) with the windows down, it will feel like there is a giant blowdryer on high aimed in the windows.

Then imagine what it will feel like if a thunderstorm comes up and you have to roll the windows up.

Take the Benz.

Or, go nuts and live on the edge. :)

Reading all these posts hasn't really helped me make up my mind, but I have certainly enjoyed reading them. A lot of good points and very entertaining, but the jury seems to be split. I think it's going to be a game-time decision.

Many thanks for the responses!

Benz. 100 degrees is miserable w/o AC, add sun to it, it may even be harmful (heat stroke). If you have a cool shirt, sure, go for it! ;)

this might not be what you want to hear,
BUT,
sell the 911 and get a well set up 928 S4 or GT or GTS.

Then take a 2400 mile trip

If new car buying is an option now, just get a 911 with working a/c = 964/993
