Attn Webmaster
Is there any way to lengthen the time we have a post window open? I often find I get half way through a reply, stop to search a link to a tech article in a new window, and when I come back my login has expired. If I don't copy my reply it will all be lost while I go through the login process again. This issue seems to be unique to this forum.
Solutions? Anyone else having trouble with this? |
Never had this problem.

I never have this problem. I know everything and never have to look anything up. Sometimes I just guess.

Very odd, I've only experienced an expired token a few times and it's usually after days of inactivity It's your computer or browser would be my thought |
Never saw this myself here.
That said, if you continue to experience this problem, just cut & paste your post into a text editor (Notepad, for example), and cut & paste it back to Pelican when you are complete. -Z-man. |
It is rather strange. I can leave the forum without logging out for an hour or more and when I come back my login is still active. Only while mid-post does it expire. Win7/ Firefox is the typical software but perhaps it is a finicky virus/malware software that sees an open window and moves to shut it.
Copy/past is my best solution when I remember to do it... Did ya ever forget... :) |
Never had this problem.
Do you have your login set to "Remember Me" |
