Very sad. She played a lot of great quirky roles.

She was so good in her role in Five Easy Pieces that she gave me the creeps...but I eventually learned to admire her skill.

Great actress. I loved her in "Trilogy Of Terror". She starred in all 3 stories, and the one with the VooDoo doll was great. I worked with her around 10 years ago on a film she was producing and directing, extremely smart and nice lady, a true sweetheart. Still beautiful as ever, and still had a nice rack (Karen would have appreciated that remark).

RIP Karen, you were well respected by your peers, and hopefully more will realize how talented you really were.

Well said, Craig - thanks as always for your insights.

She did have a great rack!

I had the pleasure of working with her in the early eighties. She was a true professional in front and away from the camera.

The creepy little doll in Trilogy of Terror gave me nightmares! I think I still check under beds in case that little spear wielding fiend is hiding under there!

I think she once had a bit role in the movie "To Sir with Love" as a student sitting in a seat. She was just background back then. Always had those crazy eyes, served her roles well.
