Thanks Sammy! I always knew to place gas cans on the ground and not fill on the tailgate....now I know why! Also knew about touching the truck first before the fuel hose, but must admit I don't always do that...I will from now on :)

I once KNEW a guy.....past tense, a buddy's father, who died when the gas fumes in his boat exploded during ignition. I see now that many many boats have forced air ventilation for such reasons. You never know when the conditions are right for the big bang!!
